about

Translation Recordings closes the 2012 release year by adding another new artist to the roster. This time it's Washington, DC producer Nature Rage, who demonstrates his multi-genre talents with a soulful pair of tracks in the spirit of the Universal Grooves LP. 'Games' is the ethereal and blissful union of half-tempo grooves and deep bass music with lush pads, and an infectious arppegiated sequence that modulates outward across the soundscape. The dreamlike vibes continue on 'Let Me Show You,' where Nature Rage dials the tempo back, allowing the track's warm analogue bassline flow back and forth like massive surges of electric current across 140 BPM percussion. Rhodes keys and synth chords intertwine and dance over layers of dissipating atmospherics. With such diversity and emotion behind his music, it's no surprise that his tracks have been supported by the likes of multi-genre chameleons DFRNT and Om Unit. Look out for more Nature Rage on Translation Recordings in 2013!
